Prophylaxis -
A
dental prophylaxis includes the scaling and polishing of
Fluoride - We provide fluoride treatments to our patients, both young and
Sealants -
A dental sealant is a clear or shaded plastic material that
is painted directly onto the chewing surfaces of the back teeth, the place where
tooth decay is most likely to occur. Sealants help prevent food and bacteria
from becoming trapped in areas that are difficult to keep clean with a
toothbrush.
Space Maintainers - A space maintainer is placed in a patient’s mouth to prevent tooth movement, such as when a child loses a deciduous (baby) tooth prematurely. By placing a space maintainer, the other teeth are unable to move and the space is held until the adult tooth is ready to erupt into place.
